Chen Zhen was born in Shandong, China in 1979.Since 2001 he has started his career in China where he has collaborated in the development of many architectural and urban projects. He obtained the professional qualification of architect and urbanist in 2006.Since 2011 he has been co-founder of Recs Architects (based in Milan, Parma, Belo Horizonte, Chengdu and Dubai), which follows architectural projects in China, Europe, Middle East and Brazil. He has been Ph.D. at the Politecnico di Milano in architectural composition in 2012. Since 2013 he has become the contract professor at the School of Civil Architecture, Politecnico di Milano, teaching design lab course and theoratical course “Project of Architecture and Cities in China”. He has published many academic articles and has attended numerous international conferences as rapporteur.
